We currently have 3 Mens and 2 Ladies Teams that play in The Isle Of Portland League. Men play on a Monday night and Ladies play on a Tuesday night. Our two dartboards are located within the Quarr Bar and therefore during the season have a team playing at home most Monday and Tuesday evenings, why not come along and show them some support? If the darts is not for you there is still plenty of space within the remaining 3 areas of The George for you to relax and enjoy.
The winter league has now finished and the summer league is due to start week commencing 18th April. We are still awaiting the final winter league positions which will be announced at the end of season presentation on the 16th April. Once these have been announced and the fixtures for the summer season have been set this page will be updated with all the details.
Pre Summer Season Friendly Knockout Tournaments – Monday 11th April & Tuesday 12th April
We will be holding Men’s and Ladies pre summer season friendly knockout tournaments on Monday 11th & Tuesday 12th April respectively, the idea is for all The George Inn teams to meet together for a friendly knockout tournament and to allow especially the new players to the teams a chance to practice and get to know all the team members.
Punch National Darts Competion
The George Inn has entered one team (6 players) into the Punch National Darts Competion, we are awaiting further information regarding this however we will be looking for players that would be interested in playing in this competion.
